Match Report - 25 Oct 2011, St Francis Rangers FC 1st Team drew with Arundel


Aaron Walsh scored mid way through the first half to cancel out Arundel early strike.

With Carl Baker failing to make the game Walshy stayed up top and diverted Rob Coopers mis hit shot into the net. Akehurst switched to right back and Charm Dube came into make his debut alongside Matt Carruthers. Brown dropped to the bench. Collins came into replace Dodd who was away on his dads 40th birthday trip in bath.

Both sides had chances, Rangers twice inside the opening 5 minutes went very close and Arnoux should have done better. Pople delivered some telling first half crosses and was the home sides main threat.

Arundel had their own chances after taking the lead in the first half.

The second period was a tight affair with both sides again going close but in the end a draw was just about a fair result. O Rouke made 2 vital and top drawer saves. A positive note was the return in the final few minutes of Oli Davies.
