Captain : Aaron Walsh

Walshy is the First Team Captain and leads the players with his commited performances week in week out.

Always in there when the going gets tough and will put his head when others wouldn't.

Walshy has previously plied his trade up front but this season has spent more time at centre half where he has provided some outstanding performances.

Walshy is excellent in the air and has contributed with a fair few goals this season both from defence and up front.

Vice Captain : Rob Gordon

Rob joined Rangers from Crowborough in 2011, signed by former Manager, Kieran Collins. 

Rob is the vice captain of the first team and is very vocal in his leadership.

He is an excellent shot stopper, undoubtedly one of the best (if not the best) in Sussex County League Division One and very quick off his line. He has saved Rangers on countless occassions during his time at the club.

Luke joined Rangers from Steyning Town when Roy Staughton was First Team Manager in 2009.

Luke is a right back by trade but very comfortable in left back or centre half. He likes to get the ball down and play from the back and is dangerous from wide areas.

Tom Barnes Member profile Tom Barnes

Barnesy joined the club from local rivals Hassocks where he had played for their youth side, first team and reserves.

Barnesy has played in many positions for Rangers this season, from centre midfield, wide midfield, sweeper, centre half and full back. He is the squad utility player who is Mr Reliable and always offer 100%.

What Barnesy lacks in pace, he makes up for positioning sense good passing range.

Rangers have signed Mark Beard and he goes straight in to the squad for Sundays FA Cup match. His experience and quality will be invaluable to Rangers.

He has his own Wikipedia site, comes with pretty good pedigree!

Mark Beard (born 8 October 1974) is a former English football defender, currently coaching at Crawley Town FC. Mark joined Crawley Town FC in February 2012 and is now coach of the youth team. He joined Crawley after a 18 month spell as manager of Tooting & Mitcham United Before his appointment at Tooting & Mitcham, Beard had been in charge of Sussex County Football League Division Three outfit, &

Glenn Charker Member profile Glenn Charker
Glenn joined us at the start of the 2009/10 season fromour neighbours Hassocks. He has a fantastic 1st season with us at the heart of the Rangers defence.

Glenn left for 18 months to play with Hassocks but returned back to Rangers in the middle of last year. 
 
Charks was appointed Assistant Manager to Geoff Pitcher in October 2012

Signed from Hassocks in Dec '10, Daly brings some much needed steel and guile into Rangers' midfield. Clarky is the enforcer of the midfield.

Good in the air and strong in the tackle, Clarky often breaks up play and helps the Rangers midfield run things from deep positions.

He has even popped up with some worldy goals for Rangers this season against Ashford Town in the FA Vase and a bullet header at Chichester

Coops is an attacking midfielder with bundles of experience playing at this level for years. This is his second spell at the club after playing under Dan Bryan.

Coops can be deployed centrally or out wide right or left with ease. Very tricky going forward often dribbling at players with excellent delivery into the box.

Jay joined Rangers from Hurstpierpoint at the beginning of 2010/11 season with current skipper Aaron Walsh.

Doddsy is guaranteed 100% commitment every week and his consistency is different class.

Jay can play at either full back or either flank as a winger. Doddsy is most dangerous when bombing on attacking and his final ball is top drawer.

Holty is the Youth Team Captain who plays as a box to box central midfielder. Holty has recently broken into the Senior sides, including First Team appearances in recent weeks following on from some outstanding performances in the Reserves & Youth.

Holty is a creative midfielder who is always looking to get the ball down and play, but is disciplined enough to understand when to sit in and defend.

Holty has a huge future ahead of him, hopefully with Rangers for many more years

Sam has turned in to one the County Leagues most prolific strikers. After breaking into the first team 4 season ago, he has gone on to consistently score at ease.

Sam returns for his third spell at the club shortly after the appointment of Geoff Pitcher as First Team Manager.

When stepping up to Sussex County League Division one in his first season, he notched 16 league goals before going off travelling.

Sam comes back to the club after departing for travelling, Hassocks & Sevenoaks Town.

Jez guarantees Rangers one thing, goals goals goals. His movement is excellent and his finishing one of the best in the league. Rangers welcome back Jezza into the frame where he hope he will play a huge part in the success of Pitcher's reign is Manager.

Oli is a centre forward who has bags of pace and terrorises defenders when the ball is played into spaces behind the back four.

Jones is currently enjoying spells between the First Team & Reserve Team

Tommy joined Rangers pre season 2012/13 season from Whitehawk Youth where previous manager Kieran Collins was acquianted with him.

Tommy is a wide player by trade and has excellent ball skills which when on his game, full backs can get no where near. Tom also has a wand of a left peg which is very dangerous when delivering into the box

Dan Lawrence Member profile Dan Lawrence
Centre Half Lawrence, joined Rangers from Crowborough in pre season of 2012/13 season.

Dan has flourished when given his opportunity in centre half and sweeper roles and has since cemented his place in Rangers starting XI on a regular basis following some excellent performances.

Lawrence has been rewarded with a few MoM performances this season and even popped up with a bullet header against Redhill earlier in the season.

Maskie has joined up with the First Team following some outstanding Youth Team performances and has grabbed his opportunities with both hands with some excellent performances in the First Team this season after Pitcher took over as Manager.

Joe excels in the hole off the front two by picking up the ball in pockets of holes and his superb vision gives him the ability to slot in the front runners at every opportunity.

Not the tallest, but Joe brings us ability in abundance and has a huge footballing future ahead of him

Probably one of the moodiest players in football, Andy Mott joined Rangers in the summer of 2012 following a spell at Ringmer last season.

Motty has slotted into Rangers midfield in superb fashion. He keeps the Rangers side ticking over with his passing and showing for the ball all the time, keeping things going.

Dangerous when going forward Mott has even notched a worldy top corner finish against Ashford Town in FA Vase this season
Brannon O'Neil Member profile Brannon O'Neil
Brannon is currently enjoying his third spell at the club. O'Neill first joined Rangers as a young 18 year old fresh from Crawley Town under the Management of Roy Staughton.

O'Neill also featured for Rangers under previous Manager Kieran Collins but left towards the end of the 2011/12 season to play park football.

Brannon is a talented left sided defender/midfielder and re joined the club when Geoff Pitcher was appointed Manager and has repaid Pitcher with some outstanding performances in probably his best spell of football since departing Crawley Town. 

O'Neill offers probably the best delivery into the box in the league from wide areas with his wand of a left foot.

Brannon's previous clubs include, Crawley Town, Ringmer, East Grinstead, Crawley Down & St Francis (twice).

Pammy has re joined the club in April 2013 following departing for Worthing with previous manager Kieron Collins.

Pammy is a strong, quick and dangerous centre forward who can also play out wide or in central midfield. A free scoring forward who causes problems for all centre halves with his pace and skill and Rangers welcome him back to the club with open arms.

Pearsy made the move to Rangers from Mid Sussex Premier side Lindfield FC in Mid Sussex Premier. Other previous clubs include Haywards Heath Town, Hurstpierpoint, Uckfield Town.

Pearsy is an absolute machine and covers every blade of grass in each game he plays in. One thing Pearsy guarantees in abundance is workrate, effort and desire.

Good in the air and on the deck Pearsy has been an excellent signing for the club

Josh has proved a vital cog in the Rangers machine this season with some outstanding performances and plenty of goals taboot.

Josh's pace terrorises defenders and his finishing is excellent.

Previously utilised as a wide midfield player, Josh has re invented himself under the guidance of Pitcher as an out and out goal scoring centre forward. He therefore offers the manager plenty of utility

Charlie joined Rangers in the summer of 2012.

Charlie has been at Professional Academy clubs since a young age including QPR, Crystal Palace, Millwall.

Charlie plays in either midfield or up front. He brings bundles of pace, ability and has had some excellent performances for Rangers this season. This is his first year in senior football at the age of 16 and is improving in every game.

Charlie is also signed for Crawley Youth, whom he plays for on a regular basis. Charlie has a huge footballing future ahead of him, hopefully with Rangers or Crawley.

Geoff re joined the club on his second spell as a player in the summer of 2012 season. Kieran Collins appointed Geoff as Joint Assistant Manager shortly after he signed.

In October 2012 after Collins' resignation, Pitcher was appointed First Team Manager

Rosey is another member of the Rangers squad signed from Hassocks. Pat joined in the summer of the 2011 season.

Pat is a tricky centre forward / wide player who has excelled this season when given the freedom to express himself with his wand of a left foot and tricky skills giving defenders headaches when going forward.

Dan joined the club in December 2012 from Sussex County Division One rivals Horsham YMCA.

Dan is a left back, left midfield or centre half who has an excellent left foot and has superb delivery into the box from wide areas. With bundles of pace, Dan will bring us more strength in depth.

At only 21, Dan has a very bright future in front of him and we hope that he spends it at Rangers
